History of the Church of Jesus Christ in Action Evangelical Assembly International Ministries
Rev. Gabriel Mombrun
Pastor/ founder
In 2000, the Lord Jesus Christ directed Pastor Gabriel to start a church. In obedience to the voice of God, Pastor Gabriel and his wife brought a 1 story building at 1069 Rogers Avenue in Brooklyn, New York and renovated it to a place of worship. The ministry was founded in 2001. For the opening the Lord utilized a homeless man to carry the message to have the church open.
The Lord operated through this Church a lot of miracles. People came from far and near to take part in the church services. In 2001 Reverend Gabriel earned a master’s degree in divinity from Jerusalem Theological Institute. He was also honored and given recognition from his community for his outstanding work as a Pastor and leader. Under the leadership of Pastor Gabriel the church grew and progressed.
Mission Statement
The Church of Jesus Christ in Action strives to be the example for Christian standards and practice in worship, stewardship, mission, evangelism, teaching, and education. We are dedicated to serving our members, our communities here and abroad by providing the wisdom, the knowledge, and the understanding necessary to meet the total need of the soul, body and spirit regardless of age, gender, national origin, or economic status.
Our Facility
The facility has potential for daycare services, elderly care, after-school, social services, and low and moderate income housing. We currently have a Community Outreach Service. We have further plans to develop and create programs when we have the necessary funding. |
